Jennifer Bresnan, CBS’ reality chief, stepped down this morning from her post in order to relocate to New York. She will be replaced by her former SVP, Chris Castallo, who will now become CBS’ EVP of alternative programming.

Bresnan, who has led the reality division since 2008, was involved with CBS’ launch of “Undercover Boss” and has overseen franchises like “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race.” She will continue to consult on unscripted series for the network.

Castallo, formerly SVP of alternative programming at CBS, will continue the division’s oversight on unscripted programming like “Big Brother.”
