Hulu’s new programming slate includes a “Real Housewives” parody, supernatural comedy and a funny western, and just added to the list this week? A satirical agriculture-based series.
“Farmed and Dangerous,” which will have four episodes total, launches Feb. 17 on Hulu and Hulu Plus. The new weekly series is a Chipotle-branded project and touches on unethical and dangerous practices in the agricultural industry.
Though the series is definitely coming from Chipotle, the restaurant chain is limiting its branding on the series itself. Mark Crumpacker, Chipotle’s chief marketing and development officer, said the show will be a “values-integration rather than typical product-integration.”

Brief Take: The satire will be an interesting test to see if fans of Hulu and other streaming sites will be drawn to a weekly branded project, or if they turn away because of a possible advertising feel.
