Thursday Night Football will once again be the staple of CBS’ fall schedule.

Starting off with the Denver/Kansas City game on Sept. 17, CBS’ original series mark the start of fall on Sept. 21, starting with its best bet, The Big Bang Theory, as an anchor for its new Life in Pieces.

CBS will wait until October for its Supergirl premiere, which will air Mondays starting Oct. 26. Comedies Mom and Angel from Hell also wait until the NFL season is underway for their debuts.

Madam Secretary, The Good Wife and CSI: Cyber hold off a week for their season premieres so that CBS can give the original CSI a proper sendoff on Sunday, Sept. 27.
