CBS announced its summer schedule on Thursday including the third season of Zoo, the return of Big Brother, the new event series Salvation, and the TV version of Facebook game Candy Crush.

Zoo returns for its third season on Thursday, June 29 at 10 p.m. ET. In the series, the year is 2027 and Earth is on the brink of disaster. The human population continues to decline due to the sterility problem, an equally devastating threat rises in the form of “the hybrids,” an army of unstoppable lab-made creatures, hell-bent on destroying Mankind.

Candy Crush, the new live action game show based on the globally renowned mobile game franchise premieres Sunday, July 9 at 9 p.m. ET. The game that has become a worldwide phenomenon comes to life as teams of two people use their wits and physical agility to compete on enormous, interactive game boards featuring next generation technology to conquer Candy Crush and be crowned the champions.

Big Brother, hosted by The Talk’s Julie Chen, will once again have three weekly episodes. The hit reality series debuts with a special two-hour premiere on Wednesday, June 28 at 8 p.m. ET followed by the Thursday broadcast on June 29 at 9 p.m. ET, Sunday’s installment on July 2 at 8 p.m. ET, and its regular Wednesday time period on July 5 at 8 p.m. ET.

The new suspense thriller Salvation premieres Wednesday, July 12 at 9 p.m. ET. The series focuses on tech superstar Darius Tanz (Santiago Cabrera) and MIT graduate student Liam Cole (Charlie Rowe), who both bring Pentagon official Grace Barrows (Jennifer Finnigan) the captivating find that an asteroid is just six months away from hitting the Earth’s surface.
