Cartoon Network unveiled a new 2014-15 programming slate full of Lego Ninjas, Elijah Wood, classic favorites, and one less hour of primetime programming.
The shave in primetime is part of a previously-announced expansion of Turner’s flagship young adult brand Adult Swim.
Beginning March 31, Cartoon Network will air from 6am to 8pm.
“Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu” is a six-part series of animated specials that will begin airing later this year.
Wood will feature in “Over the Garden Wall,” the network’s first event mini series, billed as an animated comedy/fantasy story about two brothers trapped in a mysterious world.
Three classic toons are also getting a new breath of life on the cabler.
Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, and Bugs Bunny are each getting all-new series.
