Following up on its successful original movies “Flowers in the Attic” and “Lizzie Borden Took an Ax,” Lifetime is turning once again to a well-known property to enhance its originals brand.
Next month, the cable net will air “The Trip to Bountiful,” a Tony-nominated Broadway play about an old woman’s journey home. So far the show is using big names to promote the project, including stars Blair Underwood and Vanessa Williams.
“The Trip to Bountiful” debuts on Lifetime March 8.
