WGN America’s Brian Dollenmayer has added chief marketing officer to his executive vice president title, the cable network said Tuesday.

In his expanded role, Dollenmayer will continue to oversee all on- and off-air marketing efforts for the network and for Tribune Studios, including all creative executions, on-air promotion and oversight of digital, social and media. He’ll also manage WGN America’s public relations and communications efforts while remaining liaison to Tribune Media’s 42 local stations, which are in the process of being sold to Sinclair Broadcast Group.

Dollenmayer joined WGN America in 2013, and since then assisted with the conversion of WGN America from a superstation to a cable network.
