Social TV veterans Jesse Redniss and David Beck have joined forces to help companies make sense of the countless social and digital opportunities out there. BRaVe Ventures aims to advise on and invest in digital and social TV technologies, helping media leaders implement strategies for adopting those technologies into their own marketing plans.
Redniss, formerly SVP of digital for USA Network before joining social marketing company Spredfast, and Beck, previously the SVP and GM of social media at Univision, join seed capital investor Gary Vaynerchuk for BRaVe Ventures, the newly launched advising and strategy company.
BRaVe will advise media companies on social strategy, digital technology implementation and utilization of emerging digital products. BRaVe has one media client as of now, but declined to announce the name as their joint project has not gone live yet. It has, however, signed startup clients Clasp TV, Listen First Media and Content.
“To be successful in today’s media ecosystem, companies must be ‘brave,’” Redniss said. “We want clients to understand that it’s not only about having the best technology and most creative program. It’s also putting all the pieces together with a seasoned team who can guide the process from planning to execution.”
Jesse Redniss is also on PromaxBDA’s board of directors.
