Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen weigh in on the first season of Grace and Frankie and tease what’s to come in season two when the series returns to Netflix on May 6.

“We’re thrown together because we both want the beach house that we bought as two couples,” Tomlin says.

“And we haven’t gotten along so well,” Fonda adds.

But as the two women start their lives over in their 70s after their gay husbands leave them for each other, they discover they have more in common than they thought.

“They don’t really have anybody else to turn to and they find they have a lot to talk about,” Waterston says.

Clips include insight from Creator and Executive Producer Marta Kauffman, a behind the scenes moment at the writers’ table, and sneak peeks of new scenes from season two.

Just when you think you know where it’s going,” Sheen says, “it turns around and comes back in a different direction.
