With ITV and BT’s shared FA Cup live broadcasting rights expiring at the end of 2013-2014, networks are lining up to bid on the popular English football competition from 2014-2015 onward.
Sky and the BBC have made their interest in FA Cup rights known, and are poised to put their bids in to broadcast the tournament. With their own applications for the new rights deal already submitted, ITV and BT are not likely to give up the FA Cup easily.
