A&E’s third season of Bates Motel, the Norman Bates story that terrified and enthralled audiences first in 1960, courtesy of Alfred Hitchcock.
The series, a prequel to Psycho, released new key art that directly points to the movie’s ending with mother and son. For those who have yet to see the move: things don’t end well for one of them.
The tagline, “Psycho,” is the most obvious nod to Hitchcock, also hinting at the direction of Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) in the upcoming season.
Bates Motel kicks off season three March 9 on A&E along with The Returned.
