With original music by Sara Bareilles, Apple TV+’s new series, Little Voice, is a love letter to New York City at a time when New York could probably use the love.

The show stars Brittany O’Grady as Bess King as well as Sean Teale, Colton Ryan, Shalini Bathina, Kevin Valdez, Phillip Johnson Richardson and Chuck Cooper. In the show, Bess is a talented performer who is struggling to fulfill her dreams of stardom while navigating rejection, love, and complicated family issues.

Little Voice is produced by J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Trek, Lost), Sara Bareilles, Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam, Stepmom, Waitress) and Ben Stephenson (Westworld) are executive producers. Nelson also wrote and directed the first episode.

Little Voice debuts on Apple TV+ on July 10.
