Awards shows led Nielsen’s Twitter TV rankings, with both ABC’s 2016 American Music Awards and Univision’s Latin Grammys topping the list in the week ended Nov. 20.
The music kept on playing down a little further, with Fox’s Empire in third, NBC’s The Voice in fifth and BET’s concert special celebrating the Obamas and featuring such artists as Common, Usher and Janelle Monae in seventh.
On the sports side of things, the NFL dominated, taking up eight of the top ten spots, with only NASCAR and college football breaking through.
The Baltimore Ravens at the Dallas Cowboys was by far the most engaged program of the week with more than 8 million interactions. The top entertainment program, the American Music Awards, was far behind with nearly 3.5 million interactions.
