AMC is returning with the next iteration of its limited series, with the second season titled The Terror: Infamy.

The Terror, which aired in March 2018, told the story of the failed expedition of Captain John Franklin and his men to the Arctic Circle in 1845. The Terror: Infamy centers on a Japanese-American community plagued by supernatural horrors during World War II and one man’s journey to discover the root of it. The cast and crew—led by George Takei, Derek Mio, Kiki Sukezane, Cristina Rodlo and Shingo Usami—have deep-rooted connections to WWII, the internment of Japanese Americans and the aftermath in Hiroshima, AMC says.

The Terror: Infamy is an AMC Studios production produced by Scott Free, Emaj Productions and Entertainment 360. Showrunner Alexander Woo, Max Borenstein, Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert, Guymon Casady and Jordan Sheehan all serve as executive producers for the series, premiering Aug. 12 on AMC.
