To celebrate the crossover between the two post-apocalyptic zombie shows, AMC will screen the season eight finale of The Walking Dead and the season four premiere of Fear the Walking Dead in more than 750 movie theaters across the nation during a 2-hour fan event on April 15.

The event “marks an epic and highly-anticipated moment for these series, as worlds collide when Morgan (Lennie James) crosses over from The Walking Dead and into the new world of Fear,” said Theresa Beyer, SVP of brand activation for AMC.

The network teamed up with Fathom Events to make it happen.

The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead have captivated audiences and kept them on the edge of their seats for many years,” Fathom Events CEO Ray Nutt said in a statement. “Self-proclaimed ‘dead-heads’ will have the unique opportunity to come together to experience these two compelling dramas larger-than-life and commercial-free on the big screen for just one night this April.”

Tickets for “Survival Sunday: The Walking Dead & Fear the Walking Dead” are available online and at participating theater box offices.

The event will also feature exclusive bonus content that will be revealed in the coming weeks.
