Emily Dickinson’s poem, “Tell All The Truth But Tell It Slant,” serves as the background narration for Amazon’s second trailer for the season-two return of Sneaky Pete, starring Giovanni Ribisi as a man trapped by his own con.

Marius (Ribisi) is forced to return to the scene of his con in order to protect the family of Pete Murphy (Ethan Embry), who was his cellmate in prison and then became the identity he stole. Two thugs are threatening to kill Pete’s family, the Bernhardts, if he doesn’t lead them to Pete’s estranged mother (Margo Martindale) who has stolen millions of dollars from her employer.

Meanwhile, Marius is still on the run from a gangster who wants him dead.

Sneaky Pete is executive produced by Graham Host and Bryan Cranston. It also stars also stars Marin Ireland, Shane McRae, Libe Barer, Michael Drayer and Peter Gerety.

Season two returns to Amazon on Friday, March 9.
