Pop’s trailer for season two of Sing It On features eight new episodes following four collegiate teams on their journey to compete at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella—described as the NCAA of a cappella.

The series showcases real-life experiences of teams Fauz Paz from University of Maryland; Off the Beat from University of Pennsylvania; and rivals the Hexachords and S#arp Attitude, both of University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Featuring heartwarming stories and breathtaking musical performances, each team faces cutthroat auditions, power struggles and hours of training, along with powerful bonds and friendships.

Sing it On is executive produced by John Legend’s Get Lifted Film Co.

“The excitement surrounding collegiate a cappella is close to my heart, as it was the start of my career as a recording artist,” Legend said. “I know firsthand the dedication and teamwork it takes to be successful.” He was a former member of UPenn’s Counterparts, which made it to the ICCA Finals in 1997.

Sing It On is produced by Sharp Entertainment and CORE Media Group, with Matt Sharp, Teri Wagner Flynn and Kallissa Miller also serving as executive producers, along with Legend, Ty Stiklorius and Mike Jackson of Get Lifted Film Co. ICCA owner Amanda Newman serves as co-executive producer.

The series returns Wednesday, July 27 at 9 p.m. on Pop, followed by regular episodes on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
