​Newfronts are beginning to take the stage this week in a big way, with AOL just one of the media giants competing for that ad money.

AOL got a nod for the big names it managed to wrangle: its presentation featured series and projects from Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow and Hank Azaria. Other series are largely reality- or food-based, like a cooking show with Rocco Dispirito and a documentary based on athletes’ tattoos. AOL’s fall slate is looking more intense than most broadcasters’, with 15 original series in the works so far.
