BioWare’s first trailer of 2017 for the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda game was unveiled during Nvidia’s CES keynote Thursday evening.
The trailer is a mix of pre-rendered and in-game graphics, and focuses on Tempest, a starship that has been assigned to find new planets for humanity to colonize several centuries after the events of the first Mass Effect trilogy.
The two-minute promo displays stunning gameplay footage along with showing off the game’s combat systems and skill upgrades, including the ability to use a flamethower in the many upcoming battles.
The game “puts you in the role of the Pathfinder; an elite soldier, explorer and guide tasked with finding humanity a new home in an uncharted galaxy,” according to the video game developer.
BioWare also released stunning images of the game through its official website.
