NBCUniversal is premiering season two of its daytime talk show, Harry, starring Harry Connick Jr., on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
In this spot, produced with creative agency 2C Creative, Connick Jr. reminds fans of why they love him so much as he offers handshakes and hugs while crooning Sly and the Family Stone’s classic “Everyday People.” To produce the track, Connick Jr. not only sang but played every instrument.
Season two’s overall campaign took to heart some of the show’s key themes of being authentic, relatable, entertaining and inspiring. To do that, 2C recruited many of the show’s real fans — via geo-targeted social media — to participate in the live-action shoot in Hoboken, N.J.
