Never fear, dear fans of Netflix’s Bridgerton— the series, with all of its romance and high drama, will return for a second season as Lady Whistledown so reliably reports:

The series, which broke out as a buzzy hit over the holiday season, is the first to come from Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland with creator Chris Van Dusen at the helm. Each season is based on one of the best-selling Bridgerton novels by Julia Quinn, with eldest brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) set to return as the star of season two.

Season one focused on eldest Bridgerton daughter Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor), who begins London’s competitive marriage season as the young lady everyone wants to pursue, but soon finds her prospects dimmed by her overprotective older brother, Anthony. In an effort to again raise suitors’ interest, she creates a ruse with Anthony’s best friend, the Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page). The scheme works, but not in the way either Daphne or the Duke anticipated.

The series also stars Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington), Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Ruby Barker (Marina Thompson), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton), Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton), Ruby Stokes (Francesca Bridgerton), Will Tilston (Gregory Bridgerton), Florence Hunt (Hyacinth Bridgerton), Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton), Bessie Carter (Prudence Featherington), Harriet Cains (Philipa Featherington), Polly Walker (Lady Portia Featherington), Ben Miller (Lord Featherington), Sabrina Bartlett (Siena Rosso), Martins Imhangbe (Will Mondrich), and Lorraine Ashbourne (Mrs. Varley).
