To promote Fox’s season nine premiere of Bob’s Burgers on Sunday, September 30—which also marks the animated series’ 150th episode—the show is taking over three local restaurants across the country.

The stunt will take place at Fred’s Meat & Bread at the Canteen in Atlanta, Hi-Pointe Drive-In in St. Louis, and Lucky Boy Burger Shop in Phoenix. The event is first come, first serve, and depending on the location, between 800 and 1,000 fans will receive a free Burger of the Day with names like “Don’t You Four Cheddar ‘Bout Me Burger” and “New Bacon-ings Burger,” along with fries, a drink, Bob’s Burgers swag and a commemorative photo to share on social media.

Fox is also including the local affiliates’ branding on assets to drive home the message, and they will promote the event with on-air news segments and across social media. The network did a similar and successful takeover of Shake Shack at the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con.
