Netflix released the official trailer for its original documentary, Amanda Knox, that attempts to shed new light on the nearly decade-long case that made headlines across the globe.

Twice convicted and twice acquitted by Italian courts of the brutal killing of her British roommate Meredith Kercher, many remain divided on whether Knox is guilty or innocent.

“If I’m innocent, it means that everyone’s vulnerable. And that’s everyone’s nightmare,” Knox says in the trailer. “Either I’m a psychopath in sheep’s clothing, or I am you.”

The documentary shifts between past and present, and explores the events of the last nine years through access to key people involved and never-before-seen archival material. It features exclusive interviews with Knox, her former co-defendant and ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, Italian prosecutor Giuliano Mignini and Daily Mail reporter Nick Pisa.

Netflix also released two promos, “Believe Her” and “Suspect Her” that present opposing views on her innocence or guilt.

Amanda Knox is directed by Rod Blackhurst (Here Alone) and Brian McGinn (Chef’s Table) and producer Mette Heide (India’s Daughter).

The documentary premieres September 30 on Netflix
