Just a week after AT&T closed its acquisition of DIRECTV, the telecom is launching a TV bundle targeting cord cutters who want to watch TV anytime, anywhere.

With the pitch of “walk out and watch TV,” AT&T new bundle will cost subscribers $200 per month for the first year. The package will be available Aug. 10, and will be the first of its kind for AT&T, who has had to partner with satellite company DIRECTV in the past for its TV bundles.

Now, the bundle will offer unlimited phone/texts for four phone numbers, 10 GB of wireless data, HD TV and DVR from DIRECTV or AT&T’s U-verse, depending on which carrier is available in the region.

“Today is the first of many planned moves to enable our customers to enjoy a premium entertainment experience anywhere,” Brad Bentley, EVP and CMO of AT&T’s entertainment and Internet services, said in a statement. “We’re going to deliver more TV and entertainment choices to more screens — when and where our customers want it.”

The “walk out and watch TV” sell comes in to play with AT&T and DIRECTV’s offer of programming TVs with mobile devices, and subscribers’ ability to watch content through DIRECTV’s mobile app.

AT&T says that it plans on announcing additional bundles and TV packages in the near future.
