FX always goes big at Comic-Con, and this year is no different, with the network taking over the Hilton Bayfront Park with its very own “FXhibition” from July 21-24, inspired by nearly every show on its roster.
The FXhibition offers con-goers everything you might need at San Diego: sunscreen (Archer-themed, natch), a lounge to get off your poor, tired feet, cold water on tap and innumerable shareable photo opportunities. And, of course, entertainment in the form of a VR experience and screening.

Your first stop might be to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Paddy’s Pub for water on tap in a branded collapsible cup.
While enjoying your frosty beverage, the FX Sculpture Garden offers fans a myriad of photo opportunities and disturbing face swaps with iconic (and eerily lifelike) sculpted character busts that includes the American Horror Story: Asylum’s White Nun, Man Seeking Woman’s Troll, Archer‘s “Pam Poovey,” The Strain’s “Quinlan,” Baskets’ Clown and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s “Frank Reynolds” as the “troll” character from “The Nightman Cometh.”

Towering over everything is a 25-foot “infected” Lady Liberty statue inspired by The Strain, joined by a larger-than-life smashed guitar installation from Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll.

Likely exhausted, fans can take a breather in some FX-themed chairs, like Archer’s Martini Olive as an Olive Chair, or if you’re saving your phone battery, you can relax in the FX Lounge, playing various new TV spots throughout the day.
But the biggest draw is the American Horror Story Fearless VR Experience that threw you into a dark silo, landed you on a medical table, and took you through several creepy death scenarios. Going through the harrowing journey with a group makes it even more fun, like a mini horror movie.

On Thursday, FX brought fans aboard the Inspiration Hornblower Yacht for a special Archer Live! event featuring the cast and crew doing a live-read of the season six episode “Vision Quest,” alongside food, drinks, giveaways, a photo booth and a lounge. The event was sponsored by the pioneering cloud-based live TV service, PlayStation™Vue. In addition to cast stalwarts such as H. Jon Benjamin, Judy Greer, Chris Parnell, Aisha Tyler and Jessica Walter, Mr. Robot star Christian Slater was a surprise guest reading narration.

Two days later, on Saturday July 23, FX hosted a broadcast of Archer Live! at the FXhibition space for a “silent disco” night with light-up headphones. The first 300 fans received a special Archer 4-in-1 blanket.
