Before Walter White and Jesse Pinkman take their final bows, AMC will say goodbye in grand fashion, with a marathon of all five seasons of “Breaking Bad” leading into its series finale on Sept. 29.
Starting Sept. 25, AMC will air every episode of the show from the first episode of Season 1 through the end of Season 4 on September 27, beginning again on September 28 at 11:00 p.m. with Season 5, and going straight until the 75-minute series finale on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 9:00 p.m. The finale also will be followed by a one-hour episode of “Talking Bad.”
AMC has dubbed its marathon “Countdown To Finale,” and has a branded site to go with it, counting down until the show’s next episode:

Brief Take: AMC is getting all it can out of “Breaking Bad” before it ends, for the sake of the brand as well as its loyal fans. Marathons are good ways to get people caught up on series, but they also reinvigorate fans’ excitement before the big goodbye.
