St. Louis NBC affiliate KSDK is using Twitter app Vine for both content and promotion, and producing some intriguing results. TV marketers across the board have been slow to come around to Vine, particularly at the local level, but KSDK has taken to it like gangbusters to communicate with viewers in a whole new way.
Just a couple of the interesting ways KSDK is using Vine include providing brief behind-the-scene glimpses of the station at work, and promoting upcoming shows over Twitter, including one Vine vid that saw NBC anchor Stone Phillips walking into the studio for an interview.
