An innocent night playing Dungeons & Dragons take a tragic turn when Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) disappears … seemingly into thin air.
As the small, 1983-set town of Hawkins, Ind. is abuzz with conspiracy theories, Netflix’s second trailer for Stranger Things hits on many elements that come into play in the series—from supernatural forces and the discovery of one very strange little girl, to top secret government experiments.
As police, the boy’s mother (Winona Ryder), family and friends search for Will, the mystery begins to unfold.
Stranger Things is described as “a love letter to the supernatural classics of the ‘80s.”
Netflix also released ‘80s-themed key art for the series.

Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer (Wayward Pines, Hidden) serve as writer, directors and co-showrunners of the series, and are executive producers along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen via their 21 Laps entertainment banner (The Spectacular Now, Night At The Museum, Real Steel, Date Night). Shawn Levy also serves as director.
Stranger Things premieres July 15.
